Linga Chat believes language learning should be accessible to everyone. We build our products targeting WCAG 2.2 level AA and with regard to the European Accessibility Act (EAA, 2019/882) and applicable national legislation.
Support in the mobile app
- Screen reader compatibility (VoiceOver / TalkBack) with element labels
- Dynamic type (font size) support
- Sufficient color contrast and state indicators that do not rely on color alone
- Respect for the reduced-motion preference (animations are disabled)
- Minimum touch target size standard
Support on the website
- Light/dark themes that follow the system preference
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines
- Semantic heading structure, alt texts and ARIA labels
- Animations disabled when reduced motion is preferred
Known limitations
Some third-party content (e.g. external video players) may not guarantee full accessibility. We continuously improve these areas.
