Can I use two-factor authentication or passkeys on Linga Chat?

Two ways to protect your login

Linga Chat gives you modern sign-in security. You can turn on two-factor authentication, which adds a second verification step on top of your password, and you can use passkeys, which let you sign in with your device's Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint instead of typing a password at all.

Two-factor authentication

With 2FA enabled, logging in requires both something you know and a second confirmation, so a stolen password alone is not enough to reach your account. It is one of the simplest, most effective ways to keep an account safe.

Passkeys

Passkeys are a newer, phishing-resistant standard. They store a secure key on your device, so there is no password to guess, leak or reuse. Signing in is as quick as unlocking your phone, and it works across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and Windows.

Which should you use?

Passkeys are the most convenient and secure option where your device supports them; 2FA is a strong choice everywhere. You can enable either from your account security settings, and we recommend turning on at least one. Combined with blocking, reporting and privacy controls, they keep your Linga Chat account firmly in your hands.
