EGEROBOT ("Controller") processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This notice explains what we process, why, and the rights you have.
Data we process
Account data (name, email, phone), profile data (age, gender, languages, learning goals), approximate location, chat/voice content metadata, and device/usage data.
Purposes & lawful basis (Art. 6)
- Providing language-exchange matching, chat and voice features — performance of a contract.
- Profile verification and safety/moderation — legitimate interests.
- Optional marketing and personalization — your consent (withdrawable at any time).
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Retention
Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above; on account deletion personal data is permanently erased from our systems.
Your rights (Art. 15–22)
Access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
