How do I create a language event?
To create a language event on Linga Chat, open Events, add a title, time and location, choose whether it is online or in person, and publish it so nearby learners and your partners can join.
Linga Chat lets anyone host a meetup, so creating your own language event and gathering the community takes only a few taps — free to start.
- Open Events and start a new oneGo to Events & Venues and choose to create an event. This is where your own meetups live under My Events once they are published.
- Add the detailsGive your event a clear title, date and time, and describe what it is about — a conversation night, a coffee meetup, or a themed practice session for a specific language and level.
- Choose online or in personDecide whether it happens in a live room inside the app or at a real venue. For an in-person event, set the location so it appears on the event map, with a weather card to help everyone plan.
- Publish and invitePublish the event so nearby learners and your partners can find and join it. As people arrive, they can check in so you know who is there.
