How do I delete my Linga Chat account?
To delete your Linga Chat account, open Settings, go to your account, choose Delete Account, and confirm — this permanently removes your profile and personal data from the app; cancel any active subscription separately in your app store.
Linga Chat lets you delete your account and personal data yourself, from inside the app, in line with privacy regulations like GDPR and KVKK. Deletion is permanent; if you only want a break, you can simply log out and come back later instead.
- Open account settingsIn the app, go to Settings and open your account section. Account deletion is available directly in the app, not hidden behind an email request.
- Choose Delete AccountSelect Delete Account. Linga Chat explains what will be removed so you know exactly what happens before you continue.
- Confirm the deletionConfirm to proceed. This permanently removes your profile, matches, messages and personal data — it cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
- Cancel your subscription tooIf you had a premium subscription, cancel it separately in your App Store or Google Play settings, since billing is managed by the store, not by deleting the account.
